So you can home school - this is fantastic! Homeschooling is wonderful, we had fun, even for a number of years and we love it. The big question - I have all this great stuff - where can I find? How do I arrange the cards and pencils and pens and those bears little small and not even get me started on the books, oh my books. I have the stuff, now I need to know how to organize everything.
First - take a deep breath and know that you are not alone, either in yourSchool to home or traveling in your efforts to manage the madness and learn to organize it.
The procedure for the organization (aka organized Come) are fairly straightforward. Imagine putting together a puzzle. What do you do first? (Well, first you open the window, but I understand that we got past this part.) So, what do you do second? Depending on the type of person you are, you begin to order parts. The pieces with straight edges are in a heap, and with no sparerule again on the bottom of the box. So the first step in learning how to organize is as follows:
As with the organization STEP 1 - sorting (Woo Hoo, yeah, I think trumpets and fanfare - that is, we organize exciting to know where to start to learn)
When you've finished sorting the pieces, we proceed to phase two. (I know, I know - I did not say how to order or organize it or even how to organize -.. Coming later in this article just hung up there)
So, what isThe next thing you do when building a mystery? We solve and then just walk away? We put all the pieces of the center (ie without the straight edge pieces) together before? No, first you build a limit to our pieces. So, point two is:
How to organize STEP 2 - Building A BORDER (more fanfare sounds of applause)
The border is now built, but we're not done. If you left the puzzle with only one edge is never to enjoy the beauty. The same matter of learning to organize. The construction of a border is great, but now you have to use it. How to use a limit? It would have asked.) I am glad you asked (OK, I asked, I'm glad I did, but if you were here I'm sure you are using a puzzle board provide us with information on the mystery. The limit tells us how great is the product final. It helps us determine where the pieces go in and give us a light at the end of the tunnel. (I went toPuzzle for the trains, and soon I will return. It 's a mixed picture, but I digress) So three to organize, as a step.:
How to organize STEP 3 - filling in the pieces
This makes sense if you are a puzzle to think about it, after all the waiting you have lots of non-straight edge pieces just sitting there and used. How does the organization? Do you remember how to organize - a step, where we were like that? These are our missing pieces, soFilling in the pieces means that it is now making stuff. (Yes, another light at the end of the tunnel) so that we're done, right? Finally we ordered the parts, we have the border, stuffed the pieces, made in our puzzle. Right? Wrong! Sorry, but there is one more step before being arranged. (Actually I'm not sad, but it seems nice to say in this way rather than bad luck bucko -. Finally, a grouch) So what then is the final step? Take a minute and thinkabout it - if you do, you're finished puzzle to do with what? Leave, where you built? Take everything apart, so that you can still do it again? Spread the goo, so it becomes a work of art, so that you hang on the wall? For the purposes of our analogy (ie, a comparison with learning to organize, such as building puzzle) We're going for, so no, no, yes. No, do not let him out - which only added to the disorder. No, do not remove it (what? Are you crazy? We just organize all this work yourself, for God's sake, do not take it apart.) Yes, we smear goo on it is a work of art. Now, before you get goo and I remember a real mess of things - which is an analogy. Fat is basically the stuff that holds together the puzzle and keep it looking nice. This is what we need - we want to look at our newly organized territory too good. So the final step is:
How to organize STEP 4 - the final phase - KEEP ITOrganized (I have forgotten the fanfare for step three, so let's just add in here -. fanfare, fireworks and laser show and a writer sky writing "you just learned the basic steps, such as the Organization")
Now that we have climbed the "Task Organization" (also known as the organization) together to leave an example.
Note: If you are organizing a short term project work, then go through the process, however, are organized into small sections. ToFor example, organize the plan, then organize shelves (one to one), etc.)
Step 1: Sort
This is the hardest part, but if you learn to organize and organized, is to remain truly necessary. Let your head to your homeschool room / area / closet and make some boxes with you. Start by checking the boxes as follows: - garbage, donate or sell, do not belong to this area - depending on the amount of things to you, you can have moreBoxes. Once you've made your first type through, remove the garbage and move to give / sell boxes in another place (preferably from home). But now to the point of learning how to organize - in the next step, we will begin our border, so that we can, things are back in an organized manner. Keep a box or two around so that all items you decide you can no longer be put in the box. If you have a lot of items no longer needed, they consider selling books to a local or online homeschool convention site.
If you place in your school area are limited, look to see around your house if you have storage all over the world. To select the number of school terms, a threshold that only one I use now (for the week, month, semester or year). To organize and store items on a shelf (if possible) or in boxes labeled. Mark the boxes onContent so if you need to get items that are easier to retrieve. Any idea how to organize the storage boxes are labeled with the approximate year (ie the first class of middle school, etc.), the subject (mathematics, natural sciences) and the date when the storage box. If you find that you believe are the one or more fields that do not use one for you, but if you need a box to keep tag, or if you sell or donate the items shown.
Step 2: Develop aBorder
Since I am still at home with two classrooms, which will look the same, I go on some of the basics of how to organize your homeschool tag to see from there, you should have a good handle on things and can continue. If not, send me an e-mail through our contact page and leave me your question, how to organize your homeschool (or whatever) and I try to be a little help.
Books:
Living books, textbooks, workbooks, lab books, notebooks,Chapter books, first reader books, picture books, puzzle books, books, teachers, school books, books on homeschooling, books, books, books - if you homeschool, you have books. The question is how to organize all these books?
One possibility, depending on the room is a library. We have built a set of shelves like they used their own built shelves in a cabinet with shelves and wooden shelves of our local store. homemade shelves are fairly easy to do and if younot have the equipment, chopping wood at home, most home improvement stores empty for you (fee required), so make sure you measure before you go. (Measure twice, cut once - otherwise the measure once, cut once, still a little'...)
If you want other options, shelf organizers, you can explore options closet shelf, a wall or shelf mounted. There are a number of options available, so take your time and shop around for the best idea to determine how to organize your books.(After all, you have to live with him, I do not know)
Power supply:
Medical supplies are steadily increasing, we start with a few pins, then they will somehow grow in dozens of pins. The decision on how to organize these materials vary from school to home to homeschool. Below you will find a number of suggestions drawer, and other ways of organizing various supplies. Use these concepts as a springboard for your style of border. Be sure to step 3 for more information, read a label to help you learnHow to make your boxes and cartons in a way to use easily arranged.
wide drawers hold paper, pens, even spreadsheets. I found the drawers when I try to decide as laboratory equipment, was organized. One of my drawers for live experiments, this does not mean that I keep it there, instead of frogs or bugs I use it for the organization of food for fish and frogs, seeds and other accessories. Another drawer is our Explorer Gear tray containing binoculars, smallNetworks, a small error habitat and other supplies. wide drawers are located in the storage section of plastic or craft to be found. These are usually 12 x 12, so are ideal for books and newspapers.
Mini drawers are great for organizing pens, pencils, paper clips, rubber bands and all these small office supplies. When you look at the drawers, you should verify the information on the size drawer before you buy online. For example, some sites on the drawers look larger than the minilarge drawers, but this is not the case in real life. Check the allocation of space for measurements, then see drawers in shape. (Great homeschool project - making the children, then measure out to fit the area of space and the drawer is best)
Shoe boxes can not I have a room to room in the school, but are wonderful for the organization. If you want to find boxes of shoes, how to organize math manipulatives, various games and equipment for scientific thinking.Objects can be organized and easily as the boxes have lids, they can also be stacked. When looking for storage boxes, you need to find a clear box for easy identification when, if you're constantly on the tops of the fields to find out what the box will soon abandon the system of organization. They want to have the lids also boxing. As with baskets can be stacked and not quite something if taken bythe shelf go wrong is a big mess. Another reason, boxes with lid is that you learn to organize, and the beginning of the process very easy to learn to organize as a fall back into old habits. A box without a lid is used as a dumping ground for the little things.
One way to organize includes the use of decorative baskets (I know I told you not to use baskets, but after learning how to organize, you can start looking at other options, such as baskets.Just be sure they are used for very specific things. We have three baskets at a long table in front of goal, the library, our baskets. Only books in the library and check out slips into the baskets. You can also use the room door, using something like a 15-pocket door organizer over, or a file folder holders. We used Toy Organizer Kids' and storage space, but not in class. It 'started in the classroom, but then I found this not as good as the workthere are no lids. In the nursery, the organizers are still working very well organized toy toy, but it all depends on the age of your children and the variety of supplies. Teach your children how to organize their things now will save time later.
Step 3: Filling in the pieces
Now, when one things running again. One element that I found a great organization tool is still a Label Maker. Some examples are the DYMO Personal Label Maker Label Maker or brotherP-touch electronic labeling system. You can also print Avery labels. The point is that you need to label a path. What do you want to label? The short answer is: everything. All drawer boxes, and pockets should have a label. In this way, if you find an empty box, you know what should be there. Even if you are in your storage area you can see at a glance what you see. Where else can these labels? 3 ring binder! If you want to know howbinders hold more in a (usually buy it as a multi-pack, so that all look the same) without having to establish any collector to disclose its contents, put a label on the back and solve the problem.
Step 4: The final step - how to make the organization that you are well organized
Once you learn to organize as you must learn to keep it organized. A simple system of organization makes it easier to keep organized for you. One of the ways I knowThis is achieved by labeling my boxes at both ends, so that when children on the shelf (see - to be organized to teach children how to) back, it does not matter because the boxes are labeled on both ends. Another way to keep organized with a mom and a section for children. In the children's section there are items that children can learn by themselves, under Mama are the things that I think they need help. This varies with the age ofTheir children. Remember, if you live alone (and if you can not live alone, the home school) are not the only one who knows how this should be arranged. If everyone knows how to organize your life will be much easier.
The bottom line - a lot of fun shooting in your area in a school to be organized so that you all enjoy a lot of time there. Organizing should not be difficult - you take the time to take your things. Keep what you want from what you do not go and organizeWhat is on the left to find everything when you need it.
